This is a jump hour watch by Galaxy. I love this watch. I love the strap, the clasping mechanism, the movement, the lot…

And the fact that it’s a jump hour watch in black is just dreamy. I love that combination. This watch has a great automatic movement, and the clasping solid steel wrist is perfect for any size of wrist.

That red bit in the photos is just a protective sheath by the way. Dinnae panic.

This is TOP! A jump hour watch, and they don’t get much more retro than this. Chunky white plastic, with black jump hour dial, retro fonts… what’s not to like??

This watch has excellent dimensions, and a wide face and unique shapes and contours. Lovely all-plastic piece makes this the ideal every-day watch.

Utterly loving this watch, a genuine 1970’s jump hour watch with adorable metal strap, funky font and lovely automatic movement. If you are after a sturdy genuine retro 70’s watch, then this could be the piece for you. The metal strap is “solid”, i.e not flexible – a bit like a bracelet – but it’s still very wearable. Unuual colour combination this with the orange face, but it works well with the black dials.

Here’s a Buler Super Nova, in A1 mint condition! And in black. Black. Surely black is the coolest color for a
watch? Darth Vader would have woren one of these. It’s sooooo cool. This is a lovely piece, it’s mint condition,
NOS stock, bright and shiny etc. It’s BIG. A big old retro watch.

As usual with the Super Nova’s, it has the wonderful action of the small wheel going round with the seconds, the jump-hour time display, and a nice comfortable strap.

What can you say about this watch? You either love it or love it. And I love it!! It’s a watch of uniquely whopping dimensions! 40mm across, 42mm up and down and a chunky 11mm deep. This is a man watch, no doubting it!

It has the 70’s jump hour classic design, a great navy blue face and some unique fonts / artwork on the face. Has the time in normal & 24 hour time, the seconds turns continuously at the bottom of the watch…..oh, just look at the photos, this watch is too cool for school..!

This is a Sicura jump hour watch, from the mid-70’s, the same as the blue one’s elsewhere at the site, but in this lovely Olive Green colour.

This is a pre-owned Sicura watch, it’s automatic, showing hours on the left, minutes in the middle, date on the right and has a spinning seconds indicator in the middle.

This watch has a Smooth 17 jewel movement and is Swiss made.

A great retro watch on a brand new black strap, this watch is a head turner and a half!!

This is one of those watches which looks SO much better in reality than it does in the photos I take! One fine day I may get someone professional to take these photos, in the meantime you’ll just have to trust me…

I think the images of this watch speak for itself, but needless to say it’s a HUGE watch – it’s proportions are a whopping 44mm across, 45mm top to bottom and 12mm deep. In other words it’s a whole lotta watch!

Fantastic brushed steel on the face, and steel on the sides, this watch has a great shiny look. It’s a fairly heavy watch, but won’t weigh down your wrist. The phenomenal black face is in mint condition. I have to say, I’ve never seen a watch like this with a black face before, and I don’t know if I’ll see one again for a long time.

Anyhoo, enjoy the photos. You’ll either love or hate this watch. I love it…!

This beauty has an impressive 40 x 43 x 12.5 mm in dimensions, has a great strap – really handy for wrists of all sizes. The strap is original, chunky (look! It can make the watch stand up by itself goddammit!) and overall this is a great watch. The watch is NOS condition, the blue dial is stunning, the movement is great – you may have guessed, but I’m a real fan of this watch. It’s reluctantly leaving my private collection.

If you’re a regular at this site, you’ll know how quickly these jump hour watches come and go, so act quickly if you want this big hunk of watch…

This is unique. I like jump hour (or “direct time”) watches like these from the 70’s, but this one manages to combine the classic direct hour watch with a classy, almost robotic, silver casing.

I’ve never seen a watch remotely like this before. I’m worried that I won’t see one again, and am seriously considering keeping this watch. It’s SO unique. I can’t get over the funky 70’s font which says “SORNA” across the front, or the nice red window, with smaller window to see the time. It’s luscious…!

This is a winner for all you retro lovers. A Lanco watch – classic retro makers! – in BLACK! Surely the coolest colour out there…!

This is a watch by Lanco, an excellent brand, and it’s a Swiss made piece. It’s a new old stock watch, so it’s in immaculate, A1 condition. Is this the ultimate gift? Quite possibly. It’s a big, chunky retro watch in mint condition what more could a man want?
