Deadmen. Some of us like them more than others. I like this Deadman watch, and I like the other Deadmen watches at the site too. This is the wee brother of the pack, but it's still luscious. I think it's the font I like - but I'm from that Pacman era... check it out: The Deadman Warhead edition!

Well, I get a lot of mails saying "I like your LED watches, but I don't fancy buying one that's 30 years old etc etc". Here's a Casio - a bit similar to the one below, but not exactly the same. This watch, like it's neighbour, is on the site because the styles are so simple, so cool, so groovy, and so contemporarily fashionable, that I had no choice. Great watch this. Okay, it's not from the 70's - it's from 1985 - a year I can pretty much remember. It was the year of Live Aid, so commemorate that monumental occassion, buy your loved one this amazing timepiece...! The Buler "Super Nova" is, for me, one of the finest examples of jump hour watches you can find. Mind you, these watches are rare as hen's teeth, and you can see why. This is a new watch, from a New York designer. It's a flat watch, in a square shape - not unlike the "Steve McQueen" Monaco Heuer watch of the same era. This watch is made by "Spoon" and Pulsar. This is a wicked purple colour and has the day / date vertically aligned at the bottom - again, a very unique aspect.

Here is a Mentor Direct Time watch - it's a big ol' watch - a lot of watch for the money. At first, the rather noisy ticking "ticked" me off, but now I find it charming. It's in great order, goes from 0-24 hours, tells the date and the wee seconds hand goes round in a wonderful manner. You'll have to see it to understand... The strap is one of those metallic stretchy ones, perfect for people like me who have girly wrists...

Well, you seemed to like the green one (above) so I think you might like this cheeky wee ruby red one as well... Again, the strap is my favourite part of this watch - it's got a neat clasping button thing, very nice, very unusual. Seems to manage to be retro and modern at the same time. These New Yorkers eh?
