Spaceman 7z watch by Andre Le Marquand in brown
For me, brown was one of the THEE colours of the 1970's. I think it's fair to say that these autumnal
hues have made a bit of a comeback, and this watch is more than a convesation piece
- this will have people talking for months! Tell them about Andre Le Marquand, the designer of the watches,
and how his range were in the NYC Museum of Art.... too cool for school this watch, it's A1 mint NOS
condition.
As you may have read already, this is the missing family member of the Spaceman
range, the sporty 7z edition. This watch has the lot. It's big and chunky, measuring a whopping 47mm across!
The face is amazing. The Spaceman logo on the face is roughly the same as it's predecessors but it seems
to have been modernised as the 1970's were moving on... The same goes for the "Spaceman 7z" writing
on the face.
This is an automatic watch, and displays the time in standard fashion and the date in a nifty orange
box at the 3 o'clock point. The face itself is brown with silver and orange decoration.
This watch GLEAMS! It has no discrepencies whatsover and could have been manufactured yesterday it's so goddam
perfect.
The brown strap is mint condition, soft & comfortable and branded with the
Spaceman name. The back of the watch is branded with the Spaceman "on the moon" figurine, as all
the oval Spaceman watches are.
